Gray bee on Desert Milkweed - Centris

Gray bee on Desert Milkweed - Centris
Joshua Tree NP, Riverside County, California, USA
May 9, 2008
Size: BL 13-14 mm
One last gray bee, found on Desert Milkweed (Asclepias erosa) roadside in Joshua Tree NP. It is somewhat similar to #535891, but I do see differences. The wing venation is not clear. Any help with this bee is much appreciated.l

Again, thank you, Dr. Ascher. So many lookalike bees. Your help is invaluable.
