possible – Loxostege immerens - Hodges #5008
Loxostege immerens
has orange hindwing but the few records I find are only California. Hope you saw the hindwing? I did rule out the nine
Loxostege
species that are not on Moth Photographers Group. The dark dotted subterminal spots are the problem. Positive id soon.
Nice moth!

Local expert has another opinion
Your id was very interesting (thank you!), so i sent the link to 2 local experts. The first has weighed in as follows:
"If possible the moth is almost too close to see the pattern. I'm not convinced it is even a micro. Its certainly not Loxostege and the front leg doesn't look right for a pyralid. I'm thinking deltoid, possibly Idia denticulalis or something like that."

Yes, again
A confirmation from the other local expert, who says they are not common in Fredericton. His last was in 2003.
