Size: 4-5 mm?
When I walk to West Foss Farm (a piece of managed conservation land just off campus) I take a route that leads through a patch of woods on campus (College Woods). In doing so, I see more insects than I would if I just walk to W.F.F. by walking along the side walks.

Moved from Schreckensteinia.

Poses like Schreckensteinia
in the guide here, but we're just guessing. One of the Moth experts will be able to tell you more.

I have to admit, I love the tiny micromoths out there, but they are also a real challenge for me to photograph. They often reflect the light of my flash back, obscuring their patterns, and being so small makes them difficult to catch any good detail. Hopefully I'll be able to get a good macro-lens for my Canon EOS. In the mean time I have to stick with using my little digital camera.
