Mournful Sphinx - Enyo lugubris - male

Mournful Sphinx - Enyo lugubris - Male
Myrtle Beach, Horry County, South Carolina, USA
November 26, 2003
Found clinging to a wall under a light at a resort hotel. I like this view because the moth really looks like a jet airplane, with swept-back wings and a horizontal stabilizer on the tail.
