green moth - Synchlora aerata

green moth - Synchlora aerata
Haymarket, Prince William County, Virginia, USA
June 27, 2011

Moved
Moved from Moths.

Synchlora frondaria is the only other similar moth with a white middorsal line down the abdomen, but the transverse lines are more dentate (jagged)

Your photo will add June for Virginia to the Bug Guide collection.
Thanks
