Dolichovespula? - Dolichovespula maculata

Found hanging under the pool deck.
Looks like it was collecting bug meat.
Had trouble with a positive ID because this individual has a thicker black vertical stripe on its face than other photos I've seen here on the Guide of Dolichovespula arenaria. Also, yellow jackets are, well, YELLOW...this one was more white
