Wow, thanks! I thought the color was odd, and wondered if it might have recently molted.

The color is quite unusual, but the enlarged collum and general body form suggest to me that this is Choctella cumminsi Chamberlin (Spirostreptida: Choctellidae). This is an endemic species in central TN and an endemic famioly in the Cumberland Plateau, the other species, Choctella hubrichti Hoffman occurs in northern Alabama. Noone is certain what Choctellidae is related to. Rowland Shelley
