It had the most awful smell-very stinky. but I've smelled that odor before with some milipedes..I looked though photos here and didn't find one-exactly like this...but maybe I missed it.

Callipodida
Abacion sp. male (order Callipodida: family Abacionidae). This genus, containing 5 species, occurs from New York - Minnesota to southern peninsular Florida and Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico; the westernmost record is just west of the Pecos River in Texas.
