Robber Fly - Asilus sericeus

I just felt this image is different from other images...

I dont see anything wrong wit
I dont see anything wrong with it. The color looks a little paler, probably from lighting, but that is all.

 
Not Asilus
I agree with Yurika that this is not Asilus sericeus. For starters, the femorae and tibiae have big black bands (instead of being overwhelmingly yellow-red), the mystax is black over grey (instead of golden) and the wings are only lightly infuscated (instead of being strongly black and gold).
I'd call it a Machimus, probably Machimus cf. erythocnemius based on that leg spot pattern, mystax color, leg bristle pattern, the short wings, and the bare scutum.
