Sphingidae: Ceratomia undulosa? - Ceratomia undulosa

Sphingidae: Ceratomia undulosa? - Ceratomia undulosa
Turtle River State Park, Grand Forks County, North Dakota, USA
July 5, 2011
Size: Length ~ 5.5-6.0 cm
This specimen may be a Waved Sphinx Moth. It resembles BG images, but seems markedly darker around the reniform spot, between M and PM lines, I think. I'll post a second image showing the hindwing of this moth. I'm hoping to confirm or correct this specimen's identity. Thanks! ;-)

Moved from Sphinx Moths.

Hindwing shows plenty of wear, but the id looks good.

Thanks, Maury!
Thank you for confirming the ID! ;-)
