Welcome to BugGuide!

Possibly Condylostylus patibulatus
There are two or three species that look like this in Nebraska. The Eastern Condylostylus patibulatus gives way to the Great Plains and mountain species C. melampus and C. coloradensis as you move west. All of them are shining green with black legs and a dark U-shaped mark on the wings.
