yes...Anorus piceus; one fema
yes...Anorus piceus; one female was found back in 1934 by Blaisdell (TAES 60:317), she is larviform (staphyliniform), she needs to be re-collected and adequately described along with the larva.

 
I'm not in CA anymore
I was offered a big award for a female of our local AZ Anorus - the males come by the dozens to any light - bu females? Dig them out?
