Size: about 8 mm in length
Very abudant on apple trees. Surrounding habitat is Great Basin sage brush.

...perhaps praealta?
Could this species be Telamona(=Heliria) praealta? According to Yothers & Allen (1941) this species is known to feed on apple trees and can become a minor pest in orchards.
