Mullein bug - Campylomma verbasci

Mullein bug - Campylomma verbasci
Cawston, Okanagan-Similkameen, British Columbia, Canada
July 3, 2009
Size: about 3 mm in length
An important pest of apple trees, although some have reported that adults can be predaceous on other insects as well. No reliable monitoring technique currently exists. This specimen is rather washed out due to extensive cleaning process from kairomone traps.
