Size: approx 3cm "tall"
I just downloaded my other shots,is this a chekerspot as well? It's wings are in sad shape. How long do these live?

This is a Silvery Checkerspot
Chlosyne nycteis. As for life span, I'm not sure, but at a guess, I'd say that if they get past all the predators and other hazards, the average life as an adult would probably be on the order of two weeks. I'm sure some probably live longer, and most probably get eaten long before that. It's a race for them to mate and lay eggs.
