Large spider in tree - Dolomedes tenebrosus

Large spider in tree - Dolomedes tenebrosus
Vandalia, Montgomery County, Ohio, USA
May 10, 2010
Size: 1/2", 3" with legs
Noticed this spider in a hole of a tree. I also took a picture of my hand beside it, and estimated it to be 3 inches long.

Moved from Frass.

Moved from Fishing Spiders.

Moved
Moved from ID Request. I think female Dolomedes tenebrosus is very likely.

Looks to be
a fishing spider in the genus Dolomedes

Thank you!
I looked up Dolomedes, and it looks most like a Dolomedes tenebrosus. Can anyone confirm this? And also whether it is male of female?
