Noctuidae/Nolidae? - Phigalia titea

Noctuidae/Nolidae? - Phigalia titea
Hitchcock Nature Area, Pottawattamie County, Iowa, USA
April 9, 2011
Size: 3-4 cm?
Sorry, it's been 3 months since I took this photo, so I don't recall the exact size. There were quite a few of these moths resting on the lodge at Hitchcock Nature Area.

Phigalia titea - Half-Wing - Hodges #6658
Moved from Phigalia.

I agree with Edna (shotguneddie)
The pm line curves basally as it approaches the costa, and is not toothed
The pm line of Phigalia denticulata is strongly dentate as it nears costa and does not curve basally.

Nice photo!

Looks like...
Toothed Phigalia
