Slough Amberwing dragonfly - Perithemis domitia - Male

Probable Slough Amberwing dragonfly, Perithemis domitia, in our backyard about 11 am this morning. Very small, about 1" or slightly smaller, sitting on a clothsline that runs over the pond and posed for me about 12' away. Harlen E. Aschen
