Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Moved
Moved from ID Request. Looked better than my guess

ID
Feltia subterranea (Subterranean Dart), a common species, at least here in Houston. Distinguished from Ipsilon Dart in part by having a dark bar between the reniform and orbicular spot.

Maybe someting like
Agrotis ipsilon (Ipsilon Dart - Hodges#10663)
I think Agrotis, any way.
