Thanks for tracking this one down, J & J. I don't have Wagner's book but the Guide has a link to the larval account at Caterpillars of Eastern Forests. There's another species in the same tribe (Nacophorini) in Florida whose adult is shown
here
but it's presumably less common, and its larva might look completely different... I don't know.
Both images moved from
Geometrid Moths
to
Oak Beauty
for now.

Phaeoura quernaria, Wagner pg 175, right down to the fringe of setae between abdominal and anal prolegs?
