Bee - Apis mellifera - female

Bee - Apis mellifera - Female
Toronto, Toronto Botanical Garden, Southern Ontario, Ontario, Canada
July 17, 2011
I know it's not the best image for ID purposes, but if anyone can give me anything that would be great -- I am planning an all-bug photo show and am naming the prints with the Genus names whenever possible.

About the photo
Nothing to see with the ID request, but just to say that is an incredible image. In flight, with the ant. Good job.

Honey Bee
That is a stunning image of the Honey Bee, Apis mellifera. (Also I see an ant on the flowers to the lower right, which is a Formica in the fusca group.) Do you know what the plant was?
