Size: 2 cm
Looks a lot like a bee fly, possibly Villini but none on the pages looked quite like it.

Did some more looking...
It bears a resemblance to
Exoprosopa fasciata
:
But that's strictly a guess on my part. The experts will tell you if I'm anywhere close. :)
