Looks like our Proctacanthus rufus. A clear stream lover in our area. It does occur in FL.

I had the photos at the above link at Proctacanthus rufus - thought this bug was smaller and had a different structure and posture?

Those at
the link are both females. This is a male. I doubt any of the other Florida species have this appearance, but there are a few I have not seen.
