Crab spider - Misumenoides formosipes
Crystal Lake, McHenry County, Illinois, USA

Size: 6mm body
I haven't refined my skills enough figure these yellow goldenrod crab spiders down to genus (let alone species). This one was under a curled flower ray enjoying a fruit fly when I lure it out with a tiny strand of grass.

After looking over the Misumenoides description, I see the ridge over the eyes and the band under the eyes.
