Female
Actual size measured here is 17 mm. Females of the genus can be separated from the males by the shape of the protarsal claws (evenly arcuate/curved in the females, hook-shaped in the males). Normally females are very difficult to determine to species but the combination of pale underside, slightly dilated sternal keel and long maxillary palps strongly suggest H. soror over other similar species.
