large orb weaver - Araneus marmoreus -

Size: 1.5"-2"

I found this large male weaver about on a potted geranium. It then cruised along a strand of silk down to about 6" off ground and then all the way to a hammock that was 20 feet away. It made the trip in roughly 2 minutes...
