Diogmites - Diogmites properans

Diogmites - Diogmites properans
Radium Springs, Dougherty County, Georgia, USA
July 24, 2011
I am leaning towards Diogmites properans.

First located the pair on the ground while they were mating (They are still mated in this photo. The other individual is out of focus and cropped out. I took this shot to document the stripes on the mesonotum.) Then photographed one individual (last 2 photos) after they naturally split up (without any interference). This location was within 20 meters of a small river.
