Size: ~3mm
Not more than 4mm.
Lace Bug landed on my thumb, so I took its picture.
Since lace bugs are host specific:
There are no birch, alder or beech trees close by.
We do have close to the picture location:
Fig, sugar maple (imported), Burford Holly, water oak, wild
cherry (large trees and several), elm (small trees and few), other oaks, nandina, dogwood, hickory.
First record in Alabama on BugGuide for this species.

This is another species of Corythucha that feeds on cherry.
