Xyloryctes jamaicensis
Female rinocerous beetles - Xyloryctes jamaicensis. Males have an impressive horn where the tubercle is that you see in the lateral view. They are harmless and fun to handle. Try holding one in your fist and you will see how strong their legs are at digging!
