Awesome Maury !!! Moths are
Awesome Maury !!! Moths are difficult for me because I never studied them. A few years ago a team of scientists worked for weeks collecting moths in the Great Smoky Mountains at night with lights and some kind of fumes. I don't know what they ended up doing with all the info, but I'm pretty sure they carried all the mounted specimens to D.C. for cataloging and probably found new species in the group. I wish they would publish a book about it. Have you heard about this before?

Thanks for the ID.

One of the
Macaria genus. Specific species often difficult.

Thanks Doug.
