Dusky-Blue? - Calycopis isobeon

Dusky-Blue? - Calycopis isobeon
Desoto, Dallas County, Texas, USA
July 24, 2011
Shade-loving. There is, however, no red over the blue spot, but the red band does not look wide enough to be a Red-banded.

Moved
Moved from Calycopis.

I'm no expert, but
It looks like a Dusky-blue Groundstreak (Calycopis isobeon) to me :)

Thanks--
I think you have a good feel for them. I was pretty sure, but these are supposed to be "uncommon" in north Texas, yet I have images--all taken in my handkerchief-sized back yard--for every month from June through October. Thus, I second-guess myself!
