Adults, eggs & instars at different stages on my zucchini plant.Infinitely more interesting than the zucchini... :)

These eggs are at an early stage; next photo will show a later stage of developement.

Eggs age?
What makes you think that these eggs are more recent than the others? I wonder why they are so black (parasitized? who knows?). Look at these being laid by a female. They couldn't be fresher. Most eggs I have seen look like these.

 
Eggs age
Unscientific leaping to conclusions I guess - my apologies. The dark eggs were on a leaf earlier in the week, and on later inspection the brown ones were there . I had marked the leaf, but it was an uncontrolled environment - I just assumed they were the same lot. Thanks for the clarification, and feel free to frass.

 
No frassing
It is interesting. Let us look for more next year and wonder why they are so dark.
