Gyrinus gehringi (Fall)
Based on examination of photovoucher; This is a male specimen; some diagnostic characters include uniformly red underside (including abdominal sternites), large size, hardly noticeable microsculpture, and features of the aedeagus (slender, gradually tapering to a point). Most similar to G. lecontei, but that species has the abdominal sternites darker (brownish) medially bordered with red and has the aedeagus broader.
