Nostima? - Hyadina

Nostima? - Hyadina
Hancock County, Indiana, USA
July 3, 2011
Size: 1 mm
Collected at UV light.

Terribly small fly. I believe it may be Nostima sp., but not sure.

Species characters
Species characters in Hyadina are

Color of crossveins (dark here)
Presence or absence of outer vertical bristles (inner always large and convergent)
Scutellum with or without "dense black, velvety patch" laterally (if without, then with coppery pruinosity)
R2+3 with or without appendix (absent in photo)

Moved from Shore Flies.

Tony Irwin on "Not absolutely certain - but this looks more like Hyadina to me."

I checked it against the key in MoND (1) and I end up there too.
