Size: each egg- 1mm or so
Each egg was suspended from the bottom of a leaf, when turned upside down they defied gravity!

Not weird when you learn why they're that way :)
Lacewings are predatory insects, and when the larvae hatch they're hungry. By putting them on these silk stalks the mom prevents them from eating each other. They have to come down eventually and it tends to be staggered so they're more likely to miss each other and look for other prey instead.
