Numbers
9 species north of Mexico, several more south of the United States(1)
Range
New World (se./sc. Canada to Brazil); in our area, T. coquilletti is widespread (QC-MB-ID-CA to MD-TX), T. aldrichi SD-OR to GA-TX-CA, T. amplicella KS-TX-AZ(2)
Habitat
sand dunes or other sandy habitats
