Carnivorous bug found inside

Carnivorous bug found inside
Albuquerque, Bernallilo County, New Mexico, USA
July 21, 2011
Size: 1" body and head
Devoured a small beetle when fed. Has two sets of vertical pinchers in front of mouth.

Moved
Moved from Windscorpions.

Eremobatidae
This picture and the location is enough to classify this solifugid in the Family: Eremobatidae (Kraepelin 1899). The opisthosoma is fairly plump, which suggests this specimen is a female, but cannot be confirmed unless I saw a photo of its ventral side to look for a mature genital operculum.

Thanks!
Wind scorpion it is!

Thanks

You are correct Mark
A Solifugae. Nothing else looks like this, they're interesting critters.

Pretty sure it's a Solifugae
Looks like a Solifugae or Wind Scorpion even though not a scorpion but a relative. Someone more experienced can probably ID it positively
