Range

mostly Palaearctic and Afrotropical; in our area, A. barbatus is widespread, the rest in sw. US (CA to ID-CO-TX)(1)

Remarks

wing venation distinctive: r-m crossvein close to the base of the discal cell. --Joel Kits
