Gymnetina cretacea LeConte - Gymnetina cretacea Cochise County, Arizona, USA
True Gymnetina cretacea: variation in dorsal pattern; the "spotted" versions to the left are by far the most common, the others are rare variants. Note that the pronotum (and elytra) are much more strongly and densely punctured than in the sympatric G. howdeni. The genitalia are different as well.
