From what I can tell, Sicya macularia is the only species found in B.C., but I have found pictures of Sicya crocearia from Washington and wanted to eliminate that as a possibility. Can that be done with this photo?

Sorry I can't answer your question. I think it probably takes a hind wing view to separate the two in your area.
