Moth - Proserpinus terlooii - female

Moth - Proserpinus terlooii - Female
Tucson, Pima County, Arizona, USA
August 1, 2011
Size: forewing length 20 mm
Moth is dead in this photo. I found it in my pool and placed it on a table and covered her with a jar hoping it would recover. It died but not before laying eggs. I brushed the eggs into a jar and we'll see if they hatch.
