Pretty green bees at Marietta Sand Prairie - Agapostemon splendens - Female
Marietta Sand Prairie, Marshall County, Iowa, USA

In a grassless blowout at Marietta Sand Prairie. Not much was readily visible except many dead millipedes, some live ones, a few robber flies, and 3-4 of these green bees. The bees were operating in close proximity to each other.
