Narrow linear mine on upper surface of Zigzag Goldenrod (Solidago flexicaulis) Arrow-leaved Aster (Symphyotrichum sagittifolium) along wooded trail.

Symphyotrichum?
I'm wondering if this plant might actually be Symphyotrichum cordifolium or something similar. That wouldn't change my placement of this photo, but I've never seen a quinta-like mine on Solidago (despite a few reports of such in the literature).

 
Correction
I agree, this is Symphyotrichum sagittifolium.
