Moved
Moved from Townsendia nigra.

The T. nigra I have seen
all have black abdomens. I don't have a key for this, but I wonder if the red abdomen here means this is the newly described Townsendia arenicola?

T. arenicola
I agree this is Townsendia arenicola. This species seems to occur on other sand ridges in central Florida outside of Lake Wales Ridge.

No, not arenicola.
T. arenicola is endemic to the Lake Wales Ridge scrub in Polk and Highlands counties. See for images I just posted of arenicola.

Townsendia
Sorry Jeff, missed this one when it was posted. This tiny robber is Townsendia, and likely Townsendia nigra. Lovely shot. I lust after one of these in my own state.

Thanks
for the ID.
