Range
Several species of Orasema parasitize the imported fire ant in South America, and a few others occur in the United States.
Remarks
our only representative of the subfamily Oraseminae that contains a total of 72 spp. in 4 genera(1)
Some species have potential as biocontrols of the fire ant and may be introduced from South America.
