Ken, they both feed on Oak
Moved from ID Request.

Ken, they both feed on Oak in the larval form, so size is probably the best visual clue. The dark shading is variable.

a size calculation ...
Based upon the focal length of the original uncropped image and the working distance of the 8 diopter accessory lens I use, I can pretty closely determine the width of the image field in the original uncropped image, in this case 21mm. Comparing that to the size of the subject within that image gives me a total subject length of approx 11-12mm, a little smaller than my original estimate.

Antaeotricha schlaegeri - Hodges #1011
if your measurement was total length from head to wing tip and accurate, then this is most likely Antaeotricha schlaegeri - Schlaeger's Fruitworm Moth - Hodges #1011.
Antaeotricha leucillana - Hodges #1014 is nearly identical but smaller with a wingspan of about 17 mm

I also have a top view, a front view, and a view of the foliage that it was found on. Would any of those be helpful?
