Same Family - Pieridae
but not sure which one

 
i was looking up pieridae...h
i was looking up pieridae...honestly looking at photos & this pic i have of one of the yellow butterflies that hang out in that tree...i believe it's that of a Orange-barred Sulphur...same w/ the yellow caterpillar i submitted...i think they're the same...just the green one is older & the yellow one just snacked on the flowers...it makes sense now that i looked them up...thank you so much helping me figure it out =^_^=

(i thought there was 2 different yellow butterflies hanging around...but given what i read in the info page...i see that what i saw was just a male & female...the male got killed...i found 2 wings w/ an orange spot on them...i got a photo of the female on my comp...lil blurred so i never uploaded it here)

i don't know the name of the plant...it's a tree w/ fern type leaves & grows yellow flowers...here are some photos of my plant:

EDIT: i did some web digging...found out tree is most likely a Cassia surattensis
