Shield Backed

Shield Backed
Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, Pima County, Arizona, USA
August 5, 2011
Found on desert milkweed.

Moved
Moved from Shield-backed Bugs.

do you collect voucher specimens?

Sure did
I actually walked away from it and then thought again. Ran back and grabbed this one.

great
if you want a shot at online ID by Dr Eger, pls add a nice ventral shot [i'm not sure which specific spots may be needed: sometimes the abdominal pattern would work, in other cases the osteolar are may be needed, or perhaps the shape of the bucculae]

Will do
It might have to wait until I get back to Columbia, but I'll add it by August 10th at the latest.

any news about this one?
pls add a ventral, and i'll be happy to show it to Dr Eger -- or maybe you've got a name for it already?

Joe Eger: "Need underside on this one"

Hm
I thought I had added the ventral shot before. Apparently I never did. And, as luck would have it, I had to get my hard drive replaced and lost all of my old photos. I'm going to look through my collections and try to find this guy and get a shot up asap.
