It would appear
that I let this one fake me out too. Some clues that I missed: thicker hind femora; white lines on top of pronotum more strongly converging in the middle (the margins don't seem to do this though when the white lines are missing); thicker antennae; fastigium of top of head narrower with "lateral faveolae" to either side more clearly visible from the upper side.

a female Spot-winged Grasshopper
Orphulella pelidna
. It's another species for which the common name often doesn't fit very well.
