I've looked at some different sites for this damsefly but I can't find one just like it. Anyone have an idea?

Moved
Moved from
Pacific Forktail
. We're no longer convinced that this is cervula and think it may actually be damula. We have moved it there and will see if we can get an expert to check it out. We're hoping by having all the possible damula together we can get someone to look at them. Will keep you posted.

Possibly an Ischnura cervula
Checking Damselflies of the Southwest I found an almost identical photo under Pacific Forktail (Ischnura cervula), immature female. Here's the link:

There's another similar immature female at:

I'm wondering if it could be that.

This is a puzzle
The closest we can come with segment 8 completely blue and most of 9 blue is a female Enallagma clausum. They can be blue to green or tan which might explain those orangish eyespots. Not sure that the abdomen would be so completely black as yours. Will check some more places since our eastern books might not give us all the possibilities for Utah

Orange legs and purple eyes.
Those orange legs are weird, too, and the almost purple eyes. I just can't find anything like this little dragonfly. I appreciate your checking on it.
I have a side shot of it but it's blurry but I could post it if anyone thinks it might help.
